Mardi Gras Throw Necklace

The act of throwing beads might be one of the most prominent activities that take place during Mardi Gras. These colorful necklaces became known by locals as "throws" since they were always tossed to the crowds from passing parade floats. 

Inspired by this beloved tradition, Sarah Balli designed a Mardi Gras throw you can wear all year long! Each hand-strung necklace is made up of unique beads in the traditional Mardi Gras colors of purple, green, and gold. The purple symbolizes justice, the green represents faith, and the gold signifies power. And, since Mardi Gras season wouldn't be complete without a king cake, Sarah designed a one-of-a-kind king cake and knife toggle set to tie it all together.
