Inspired by a preserved World Trade Center steel beam displayed at a local fire station, Jose Balli created the Steelworker Cross as a tribute to the courage of the firefighters, first responders, and volunteers who served in the aftermath of September 11.
Crafted to resemble two steel I-beams welded together, the design serves as a lasting reminder of strength, hope, and perseverance in the face of adversity.
