These delicate daisies were inspired by the famous "pluck the daisy" game, a well-known practice originated by heartbroken Victorian maids who wished to be loved once again by their suitors. A maid would pluck a daisy's petals one by one, chanting, "He loves me, he loves me not," for each petal pulled. The last petal is said to predict the outcome, which in Sarah's design is always "loves me." 🌼
